Next week is the grand opening of our

Man Is In The Forest Taipei pop-up shop.

In conjunction with the opening, is the launch of the 3rd and final leg of our Travelling Mickey exhibition. Please stop by the newly opened ATT4Fun Mall and check it out if you're in town.

Travelling Mickey HK Station

We're having the launch of our 2nd stop of the Travelling Mickey exhibition in Hong Kong today. Hong Kong based artist, Eric So, who contributed one of the 10 designs, will be joining us at the opening event. The exhibition is on display at Langham Place Mall in Mongkok. Please stop by and have a look if you have time.

Travelling Mickey on Hypebeast

Hypebeast did a feature article for us on our upcoming Travelling Mickey exhibition. We gave 10 notable artists/designers from around the world a blank canvas in the form of a white Mickey statue, and asked them to create their own interpretation of Disney's most iconic character. Contributors include Andre, Cassette Playa, Dr. Romanelli, Eric So, and Mr. Cartoon, to name a few.

The exhibition kicks off in Shanghai on July 15th at Man Is In The Forest, then moves to Hong Kong, and finally to the upcoming Man Is In The Forest Taipei. During the exhibition period, the one-of-a-kind statues will be up for auction via online bidding, with the winners announced at the conclusion of the exhibition tour. Limited edition tees have also been created as part of the project. A portion of the proceeds from the auction and tee sales will go to charity.

Travelling Mickey

Ten notable artists from around the world were given a blank canvas in the form of a white Mickey statue, and were asked to give their interpretation of Disney's iconic mouse. We will be exhibiting the designs for charity auction soon. Stay tuned..

Madsaki x Disney Exhibition - Tokyo

We've done a collaboration with Japanese artist Madsaki, featuring 12 original prints. He's having a preview exhibition in Tokyo at PUBLIC/IMAGE.3D gallery, in association with TOKYO CULTUART by BEAMS. The exhibition opens tomorrow and runs until the 24th. Please stop by if you're in the area.

Juice x Reebok Pump 20

In Hong Kong again. Went by the Juice store last night to check out the launch party for their collaboration with Reebok. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pump, Reebok invited 20 of the top retailers in the world to each come up with their own version of this iconic shoe.

Other collaborations included A.R.C., collette, KICKS/HI, Commonwealth, HUF, atmos, and UNDFTD, among others. The one shown here is by Patta, from Amsterdam.

Beijing CHIC 2009

We recently checked out the China International Clothing & Accessories Exhibition in Beijing. You got to see a lot of what local fashion brands were doing. There was some good, some bad, and some downright ugly stuff.
