Back in Tokyo, my friend brought me to the Kinfolk Lounge in Naka-meguro, from the guys who make bikes of the same name. You'll have to see the bikes for yourselves, so I'll just show you the washroom..
This has got to be one of the most rad bike & rider combos I've seen in a while. First of all, the bike. Look how sweet that baby blue paint job goes together with those bad ass, black-spoked rims. And with what appear to be low profile tires and that low fender clearance, it looks like this ride's been dropped. Second, check out the lady riding it. A crop-top shawl, a lacy see-through black dress, red gloves, and big, big hair - I bet you'd be hard pressed to come up with a more random, yet fitting look for a Sunday afternoon ride.
This is what I get around the city on most of the time. Whether it's to get to the office, or down to the corner store, or just exploring the neighbourhood. It's a great way to avoid the traffic congestion, and a nice way to see the city.
