Disney x CLOT x PHANTACi Phantasia Pack

This past weekend we held a press conference in Taipei to launch the Phantasia Pack, in collaboration with two of Asia's biggest celebrities - Edison Chen and Jay Chou - crossing over their respective brands, CLOT and PHANTACi, with Disney. The collection is inspired by the classic 1940's Disney animated feature Fantasia. The collection will be available in Taipei at PHANTACi, in Shanghai at Man Is In The Forest, and in Hong Kong at Juice.

Vintage Disney by Size Magazine

Size Magazine did a great special insert booklet for us this month, featuring Dr. Romanelli's Vintage Disney collection at Man Is In The Forest. In an exclusive interview, Dr. Romanelli talks about Disney, his passion for vintage items, and the way he deconstructs it and incorporates it back into his work.

This photo shoot shows some of the great Disney nostalgia that Dr. Romanelli was able to find, drawing from his vast knowledge of vintage warehouses, secret stashes, and collectors.

Heavy Metal

This is where you go to pick up anything long and metal that you need for your home DIY project.

Reminds me of Grade 8 Metalwork class. I won't lie, Mr. Sandstrom scared me straight about being careful with the machinery. I didn't want to lose a finger because I forgot to take the chuck key out of the drill.. Thankfully, I made it through the class without losing any extremities, and came away with a pretty ugly looking balancing man. The other half of the semester was Woodwork class, where I made these salt and pepper shakers that basically looked like 2 huge blocks of wood with little holes drilled into one end. Thanks mom for pretending that they looked nice. She gave me the, "Oh, these are too special to use. Let's just put them here, at the back of the cupboard for safe keeping.."

Reach Out And Touch Someone

Apparently it's January 20, 2003, which is probably about the last time I used a home phone. In case you're one of the few people left that doesn't have a cell phone, you can come to the local corner store to use their "pay phone". I do miss the days when we had to pick up the telephone and actually talk to someone in order to communicate..
