Sport Is Art

Went to check out this Nike pop-up shop opening at Kin. A select number of artists from around the globe were asked to create their own graphic interpretation of what art and sport mean to them. The designs were then printed as tees. It was a nice turn out, with a lot of the local creative community coming out to support. More on the event here.

I Love Hand Done Cards

Best birthday card ever. For Easter weekend/my birthday, a few friends and I decided to meet up in Macau to do a little gambling and hang out. We got hooked up at the Venetian, which is really nice. My friends G. & T.C. have brought their two kids, Reese and Tia, who I'm a big fan of. I always have fun with them whenever I visit HK.

This morning, Reese surprised me with this birthday card! The cake he drew has 34 candles on it, cuz..yes! I'm 34!..How did you know? Thanks Reese and Tia, I love it.

All I Wanna Do Is Zoom-A-Zoom-Zoom-Zoom!

My first time to an F1 race. I now truly understand the meaning of "ear-splitting". The scream of the engines sounds cool when you're watching it on tv, but when you're in the grandstand, it's actually PAINFUL! I was expecting the people who weren't wearing earplugs to have blood coming out of their ears.. It was pretty awesome to see in person though. Thanks A.P. from Oakley for hooking it up.

Vintage Disney @ Man Is In The Forest

Today we launched our installation of Vintage Disney by Dr. Romanelli at Man Is In The Forest. Dr. Romanelli has spent the last 6 months scouring the vintage warehouses and 2nd hand markets for collectable Disney memorabilia. He's dug up souvenirs, toys, and apparel dating all the way back to the 1950's up to the late 80's, from old metal lunch boxes and hand puppets, to crazy all-over print polyester dress shirts and vintage tees. He's even put his special cut and sew remix touch on a number of custom one-off Dr. X items.

Eating On The Job

Saw these guys working late doing renos on a shop down the street from ours. They even brought their own rice cooker and hot plate to cook their dinner on the dirt floor. That's hardcore dude.
