Here I am again, twice in 2 days, sitting on a plane, waiting for clearance from air traffic control. In total today, I will have sat staring out a window for longer than a normal person's work day. 3.5hrs in the van to Leshan, 2.5hrs in the van to Chengdu airport, 2hrs waiting at the airport to board the plane, 1hr waiting on the plane, 1hr for the actual flight, 30mins for the taxi to the hotel. A total of 10+ hrs sitting in one spot, doing nothing much except moving my eyeballs. And guess what I'm going to do once I get to the hotel? - sit in one spot and stare some more - at the tv..
